What we collect

Nothing. Gongbu has no accounts, no sign-in, no email or nickname, and our own servers receive no personal data from the app. What you write on the canvas never leaves your device.

What stays in your browser

To remember where you left off, Gongbu stores your progress (which letters you marked as learned or saved, and which you have written) and a few settings in your browser's localStorage under the prefix gongbu:. This data is never sent to a server. You can clear it any time from Me → Reset or by clearing site data in your browser.

Advertising and analytics

Right now Gongbu shows no ads and uses no analytics, so no third-party cookies or identifiers are set. If we add advertising (Kakao AdFit) or analytics (Google Analytics) in the future, we will update this page in the same release, describe the third-party cookies they use, and not load them for visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland without consent.

Children

Gongbu is a general-audience service for adult learners and is not directed at children.
